What makes this guitar special: A stunning amber finished Les Paul, with a standout premium flame maple top, in tremendous condition for its age. This beauty showcases far less wear than you’d expect for a used piece, with very little discernible wear at all. It plays like a dream up and down the length of the rosewood fingerboard, with a super comfortable ‘60s style slim-tapered neck profile. It’s been professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Terrific shape for its age, with only some light surface scratches and marks from handling throughout, along with some pickwear and a handful of scuffs and dings visible under close scrutiny. There is visible scratching on the front of the headstock as well, and some minor tarnishing on the hardware. Cosmetically, this one is a 8.5/10 for its age.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound AA flame maple top in amber finish with ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 9 lb, 1.5 oz
Neck: ‘60s style slim-tapered mahogany neck with black side dots and aged pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo and two-stripe Gibson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in marvelous shape, and frets show only light wear, with a great deal of life left in them. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the length of the fingerboard.
Electronics: Ceramic 496R & 500T humbuckers (Bridge-13.68k ohms, Neck-8.18k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and vintage style tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
