What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing Gibson Gothic SG! It has a great feel and has been upgraded with a Tony Iommi humbucker in the bridge! The guitar features a black finish complete with black hardware, a very comfortably rounded neck with a moon and star inlay at the 12th fret and Orville Gibson’s picture on the back of the headstock. The guitar has great playability and the combination of pickups is phenomenal together!
Condition: Good shape overall. There are plenty of scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the instrument with some buckle rash on the back. All the wear and tear actually adds to the guitar’s look in a cool way however and kind of gives it some character. The fingerboard and frets are in great overall shape with only light play wear towards the lower registers. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. The bridge pickup has been upgraded with a Tony Iommi humbucker and one pot has been replaced. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid body with beveled edges in black finish. Black Stop-Bar Tailpiece with a Tune-O-Matic bridge. Skirted control knobs with silver inserts and a single-ply black pickguard.
Neck: super comfortable and nicely rounded neck with am Ebony ffingerboard. Moon and star pearloid inlay at the 12th fret and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Gibson humbucker in the neck and a Tony Iommi humbucker in the bridge. Dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.64K Ohms.
Bridge: 15.82K Ohms.

Case: Includes an unoriginal Gibson hardshell case.
