What makes this guitar special: Made from premium hardwoods with fantastic fit and finish, these beautiful recreations of the ‘60s Kingman series truly spared no expense. A checkered rosette balanced against a gorgeous sunburst finish, gold pickguard, and rosewood mustache bridge give it all the classic look and charm it needs – especially in tandem with the Soft-V maple neck and pre-CBS style Strat headstock. This one absolutely sings, with a rich and full tone provided by the solid mahogany back and sides, along with an Englemann spruce top. This beauty comes professionally setup and inspected by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape overall, with some standard playwear throughout. Various small scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs are present, along with three professionally repaired cracks. One on the top running parallel to the treble side of the fingerboard, another extending down from the bridge, and another on the bass side of the body.
Body: Double bound solid mahogany back and sides (herringbone back strip) with solid Engelmann Spruce top in sunburst finish. Forward shifted scalloped X bracing. Checkered rosette with ivoroid purfling and gold pickguard. Rosewood mustache bridge, bone saddle, and bone bridge pins.
Weight: 4 lb, 10 oz
Neck: Soft-V shaped solid maple neck with pre-CBS style Stratocaster headstock. Double bound rosewood fingerboard with black side dots and white dot inlays. Vintage style tuners function perfectly. Frets show almost no wear, with a ton of life left in them. 1.7” nut width, 25.625” scale length.
Electronics: Fishman Sonitone pickup system with adjustable tone and volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included, along with branded leather strap and COA.
