Description
Condition: This guitar is in great overall shape! There are some light surface scratches and a few small nicks and dings throughout the finish. The plastic string label is still intact on the pickguard! Fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear towards the lower registers. The neck is mostly straight with excellent playability and low, comfortable action up and down the fingerboard. The truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound Grand Auditorium body with a solid Western Sitka Spruce top and Ovangkol back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with Tusq saddle, tortoise pickguard and multiple inlaid ring rosette.
Neck: Tropical mahogany neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, progressive dot inlays and a 1 ¾” Tusq nut. Sealed Taylor tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Taylor Expression System with controls for volume, treble and bass.
Weight: 4lbs, 13.6oz.
Playability/Sound: This guitar produces a beautifully warm sound without sacrificing the high end clarity Taylor guitars are known for. It has a well-defined low end and midrange thanks to the Spruce top and Ovangkol back and sides. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.
