What makes this guitar special: This is a wonderfully versatile bass in exceptional condition for a used instrument. With its lightweight body, smooth, fast-playing neck, and intuitive electronics, this bass can suit any playing style and any genre with ease. The Nordstrand pickups provide plenty of thump, yet still maintain a clarity and definition that is desired by a large number of players. The 3-band EQ can dial in a vast array of tones, and the switchable mid-frequency guarantees that the bass sits in the mix just right. This bass can easily handle whatever is thrown at it, and since it has been professionally set up by our in-house tech, it is guaranteed to play great right out of the case.
Condition: This bass is in excellent condition overall. There is not a single mark on it (i.e. playing scratches or buckle wear) outside of one very small dent on the back. The bass is in fantastic shape and unbelievably clean for a used instrument. The frets display little to no fret wear and have a full playing life ahead of them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Double cutaway contoured mahogany body with a figured maple top in Black Ice Flat finish. Gold Mono-rail IV bridge.
Neck: 5 piece Wenge/Bubinga neck in a satin finish (.77” at the 1st fret, .85” at the 12th fret). 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval inlays and white side dots. Gold Gotoh sealed gear tuners. 2 1/8” nut width. 34” scale length.
Electronics: Dual Nordstrand “Big Single” pickups. Master volume control. Pickup blend control with center detent. EQBIIISC active 3-band equalizer with an EQ bypass toggle switch and a mid-frequency select switch (250Hz or 600Hz).

Playability/Sound: The Wenge/Bubinga neck is incredibly comfortable to play and maneuver around for an expanded range bass guitar. The neck does not feel excessively large and the satin finish allows for effortlessly smooth and fast playing. The electronics are where this bass really shines. The 3-band EQ allows for precise tone shaping, and the Nordstrand pickups provide plenty of punch to suit any style and genre of music.
