Perfectly blending Leo’s classic sound with EJ’s definitive modern tone, Fender’s Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster pickup set features a unique combination of elements. The neck is based on a ’54 Strat pickup with oversized Alnico 3 magnets, while the middle is modeled after a ’63 and is reverse-wound for easy hum-cancellation when paired with another pickup. The bridge was crafted with alnico 5 magnets and is specially voiced to push some heat without losing its sparkling top end.
