This is the new Limited G9202 "Honey Dipper" Special Round-Neck Resonator from the Gretsch Roots Series. The Roots Series resonator guitars are some of the best values we've seen in this genre. Their modest price belies their great tone and excellent playability. The "Honey Dipper" model features a genuine bell brass body and biscuit bridge which gives it a great punchy tone with a ton of projection. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new guitar and comes with the full Gretsch Limited lifetime factory warranty. About the G9202 "Honey Dipper" Special Resonator (from Gretsch.com)
Add some color to your sound with the limited-release G9202 Honey Dipper Special. This round-neck resonator guitar has all the same features as the wildly popular G9201 Honey Dipper, with the additions of aged white fingerboard binding, screened headstock graphic and a weathered "Delta Blue" finish.
The vital feature of all Gretsch resonator guitars is the all-new Gretsch "Ampli-Sonic" diaphragm (resonator cone). Hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99-percent pure aluminum, the Ampli-Sonic diaphragm yields an impressive quality and volume of tone.
One strum of the Honey Dipper transports you back 80 years to a hobo jungle just off the tracks, where wandering workers congregate in camaraderie and where the comforting and captivating strains of a real all-metal resonator guitar waft through the smoke of oil-drum fires and enchant the ears with a sound like raindrops beating on a rusty pump house roof.
