What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding Danelectro 63 reissue guitar. This reissue features some excellent upgrades including better tuners, a six-saddle bridge for much better intonation than the originals and lipstick pickups that are both hot and sweet sounding for a versatile sound that still stays true to the guitar’s original tone! The finish looks awesome and gives this piece a total vintage vibe!
Condition: This guitar is in very good overall shape. There are just a few light surface scratches throughout the entire guitar. The vinyl siding has shrunk and lifted on the bass side cutaway and there are some marks and yellowing along the sides as well (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-cutaway hollow body with red burst top and back and white vinyl sides. Three-point bridge with six individual saddles, dual plastic control knobs and a white pickguard.
Neck: Nicely rounded slender maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1.65” metal nut. Sealed tuners, 25” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-Coil Lipstick pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 3.50K Ohms.
Bridge: 3.62K Ohms.
