Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a modern take on a classic Danelectro guitar. It is highly affordable and has a great sound, feel, and an awesome vintage vibe! This one is in exceptional condition making it a great find on a used danelectro!
Condition: Excellent overall shape. There are a few tiny scratches throughout the instrument, the guitar otherwise looks un-played! The strap button has been moved from the top of the neck heel to the back resulting in some chipping of the finish. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Semi-hollow Masonite body with white vinyl sides in copper finish. Three-point metal tailpiece with rosewood bridge, dual concentric volume and tone controls and a single-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Slender neck with a beautiful rosewood fingerboard. Small pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” metal nut. Vintage-style tuners with ivoroid buttons, 25” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil lipstick pickups in the neck and bridge. Dual stacked concentric volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 3.41K Ohms.
Bridge: 3.41K Ohms.
Weight: 6lbs, 9.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding guitar that offers both the cool retro look and feel of the original with some added modern features. The alnico pickups are wound slightly hotter than the originals for a sound with a little more output and they sound great!
