Description
Condition: Very good overall condition. There are a few tiny pick scratches on the top and some very light surface scratches throughout the instrument from normal play wear. There are a few small dings, the only noticeable one being between the upper and lower bouts on the treble side. This is a very minor ding that is only visible upon close up inspection. The protective plastic wrapping is still intact on the pickguard. Fingerboard and frets are pristine. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound dreadnought body with solid Engelmann Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with bone saddle and bridge pins. Tortoise pickguard and an abalone inlay around the sound hole. Body features forward Shifted Scalloped X bracing.
Neck: Soft “V” shaped mahogany neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Weight: 4lbs, 6.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The Engelmann Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides offer a very warm overall sound. The bracing design does a great job of allowing the guitar to really open up providing great volume and resonance. The neck is very comfortable and ideal for any playing style.
