Description

What makes this guitar special: A really sweet sounding thinline electric, with a cool vintage vibe and fantastic playability. A previous owner upgraded the tuners to a set of gold Grovers, and added a Tune-O-Matic bridge for easy intonation. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is soft and comfortable, and frets have plenty of life left-this one is sure to have you playing for hours at a time. Professionally setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.

Cosmetic condition: Great condition for its age, with some standard wear and tear throughout. Various scratches, dents, nicks, dings, chips, and scuffs, with visible weather checking throughout and a couple areas of finish wear. The fingerboard shows a little bit of pitting in the first position, but nothing that hinders playability. The pickguard is cracked, but has been glued back together at some point in the past. The bridge has been modified with a Tune-O-Matic for better sustain and intonation, and the original tuners were swapped with Grovers, for which holes have been drilled. Overall, this one has a great player’s look to it, with a gorgeous patina.

Body: Thinline hollow maple body with dual f-holes in sunburst finish. Black pickguard with E logo and black tophat control knobs. Tune-O-Matic bridge with floating rosewood base and nickel trapeze tailpiece.

Weight: 5 lb, 15.2 oz

Neck: Thick tapered solid mahogany neck (.82” at the first fret, .98” at the 10th.) with aged white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show wear consistent with age, but still have life in them. Black headstock overlay with gold Epiphone logo and “E” truss rod cover. 1 5/8” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Replacement gold Grover tuners work great. Neck is straight and truss rod is functional.

Electronics: Pickguard mounted single-coil pickup (7.05k ohms) in the neck position, with individual volume & tone controls.

Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included, with zippered case protector.
