What’s special about this guitar: This is a very cool, rare Kalamazoo guitar. It’s in very good shape for its age and has a great, unique sound! The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is absolutely stunning to say the least and has some gorgeous variegation in the wood grain! This is a great playing vintage guitar at an affordable price!
Condition: Very good overall! There are various scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the guitar with the heaviest along the bottom edge of the body. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with some heavier wear towards the lower registers. The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in light blue finish. Wrap-around compensated tailpiece/bridge, dual plastic control knobs and a single-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Slender maple neck with very subtle but lovely flame figuring on the back. Exquisite Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1.5” nut. Six-on-a-strip open-gear nickel tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil pickup in the bridge with master volume and tone controls.
