Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is an awesome 1979 Fender Strat with a great vintage look, feel and tone! Cool trans brown finish, large '70s headstock & comfortable maple fingerboard. The pickups and electronics are all original & sound awesome. Great opportunity to own an affordable vintage '79 Strat!
Condition: Very good condition overall. There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and small chips throughout the instrument with some buckle rash on the back. It has just enough play wear to give it that cool vintage look! There is a crack in the pickguard near the neck pickup but this doesn’t affect playability. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear & frets still have plenty of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with nice action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition. Part of the original trem arm broke off inside the trem block & we were unable to remove it.
Body: Solid, contoured body in translucent brown finish. Synchronized tremolo bridge with six individual saddles. Original trem arm is missing. Black skirted control knobs and a 3-ply black pickguard and back cover plate.
Neck: Very comfortable and nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe and neck tilt at the heel. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Sealed Fender “F” tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge. Master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.

Middle: 5.46K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.44K Ohms.
