Description
Cosmetic Condition: Super cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. The neck was professionally reset by our own luthier & now plays great! There are no cracks in the guitar. Overall it has a great, well-worn look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. There's some pitting in the fingerboard in the first few frets, but does not affect playability. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Script headstock logo. Strip tuners with ivoroid buttons in perfect working condition. There were different tuners on the guitar at some point as evidenced by the "ghosting" underneath the current tuners. 1 3/4" bone nut; 25" scale length.
Body: Solid spruce top with X-bracing. Solid mahogany back & sides; bound top & back. Rosewood bridge with black pins & bone saddle. Firestripe pickguard & triple-bound rosette.
Playability / Sound: Nice action - neck plays great & is very comfortable. Bright, powerful tone with brilliant resonance.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
