Description

Condition: Very good overall! Various light surface scratches, nicks, dings, and dents throughout the finish give this guitar an awesome vintage vibe! There are some small areas on the back of the body and neck in which the lacquer had a chemical reaction and partially melted. There are a few tiny finish cracks on the back but these do not go through the wood. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. Neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. Tuners have been upgraded to Grovers. Nut is unoriginal but works fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.

Body: Double bound dual cutaway hollow body with maple top, back and sides in sunburst finish. There is some gorgeous flame figuring throughout the instrument and a great looking patina on the binding. Vibrato tailpiece, skirted control knobs with silver inserts, dual “F” holes, height-adjustable compensated rosewood bridge and a silver plastic pickguard.

Neck: Soft “V” shaped maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, white inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Grover tuners, 25.5” scale length.

Pickups/Electronics: Kleenex Box pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.

Neck: 11.15K Ohms.

Bridge: 11.00K Ohms.

Weight: 6lbs, 13.0oz.

Playability/Sound: The pickups on this guitar sound excellent. They provide a rather hot output and anything from a bright, snappy sound on the bridge to a warm, full sound on the neck. This is a rare guitar and a great playing example. The neck is extremely comfortable!

Case: Includes original chipboard case.
