Description
Description: 1966 Vintage Harmony Meteor Hollow Body Electric Guitar
Condition: Very good overall. Minor surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents give this guitar an authentic vintage vibe! There are two large cracks round the input jack likely from impact. Though these cracks haven’t been repaired they are not causing any issues whatsoever. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod functions fine. Tuners and bridge are unoriginal and the pickguard is missing. All electronics and parts in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound single cutaway body with maple top, back and sides in sunburst finish. There is some subtle but gorgeous flame figuring throughout the top and back! Cream “cupcake” control knobs, nickel trapeze tailpiece, dual “F” holes and a rosewood-based TOM bridge.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid block inlays and a 1 13/16” nut. Nickel Schaller tuners” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original gold foil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: K Ohms.
Bridge: K Ohms.
Weight: 6lbs, 11.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing guitar with an awesome vintage sound! The pickups sound excellent and really do a great job of picking up sound throughout the body of the guitar. The guitar is set up with very comfortable action and the slim neck allows for very easy playability.
Case: Does not include case.
