Description

What makes this guitar special:  All original, cool '70s dreadnought with a beautiful flame maple back.  Bright, powerful tone that really rings.  An all-blonde beauty that plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition: Good condition with various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.  There is one lacquer crack on the back of the body, lower treble side bout, but it is only in the lacquer and does not penetrate the wood.  There are some minor cracks in the bridge between the end pins, but these do not affect playability or sound quality.  Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a nice patina.

Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with a solid spruce top and laminate maple sides and flame maple back in natural finish. Ebony bridge with height-adjustable ivoroid saddle.  Black pickguard and multi-ring rosette.  Guitar weighs 4 lbs 8.2 oz.  There is no pickup.

Neck: Medium profile maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots.  Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays.  Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Bound headstock with tortoise truss rod cover.  Gold, sealed-back tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.

Playability/Sound: This dreadnought produces a very big and rich tone with plenty of volume and resonance. Each string and frequency rings out clear and even with the others. The spruce top combined with maple back and sides offers a snappy sound that still retains plenty of warmth. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.

Case: Includes unoriginal chipboard case.
