Description

What makes this guitar special: This Ovation has solid tone and playability. The soft V neck is comfortable and easy to move around, regardless of playing style. The guitar’s overall tone is lively, especially in the mid-range and boasts great top end clarity. The bowl body and general shape make it very easy to play either standing or sitting. Plus, the whole guitar is still in great shape, especially for being nearly 40 years old and includes its original hardshell case.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It shows only minor dings, dents, scuffs, and scratches, but is otherwise in fantastic shape, especially for its age. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Shallow bowl body with a spruce top in Natural finish. Multi-ply top binding. Large single-ring rosette. Wooden strings-through bridge with uncompensated saddle.

Neck: 5-piece soft V shape maple and mahogany neck. Bound ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays. Gold sealed tuning machines. Glen Campbell signature truss rod cover. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.25” scale length.

Weight: 4 lbs 11.8 oz

Playability/Sound: The soft V neck has a great in-hand feel and plays just as great flat picking as it does fingerstyle. The overall tone is lively with a rich mid-range, and a crisp and clear top end.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
