Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a killer Limited Edition Stratocaster released to celebrate its 25th Anniversary, and not only is it super clean, but includes the original case, a good amount of case candy, and its cert. The neck on this Strat is perfectly chunky – not quite a full baseball bat, but not slim – and should be a great fit for players who like a nice full-in-hand feel.  The pickups have great response across the board and still embody the breadth of classic Strat tone, yet have a bit smoother and sweeter response, especially in the mid-range and top end, all without losing any pop or articulation. Everything is original and in fantastic shape, making this as good of a player as it is a collector’s piece.

Condition: This Strat is in excellent condition overall, especially considering it is over 35 years old. It shows only minor dings, nicks, small finish chips, and light scratches, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a guitar of its age. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway contoured body in Silver finish. 3-ply black pickguard. Black top hat control knobs. 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles.

Neck: Chunky C shape maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 5/8” nut width. 25.5” scale length.

Electronics: Original single-coil Stratocaster pickups. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Neck: 5.66k Ohms

Middle: 5.69k Ohms

Bridge: 5.57k Ohms

Weight: 7 lbs 12.2 oz

Playability/Sound: The chunky maple neck will be perfect for players who prefer a more full-in-hand feel without being a full-on baseball bat. The pickups have many characteristics that embody the classic Strat sound, but have a milder response with a bit sweeter delivery, especially in the mids and upper range, all which still have great pop and articulation.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
