Description: 1980 Vintage Martin EB-18 Electric Bass Guitar Very Rare!
Condition: Very good condition overall. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings, and a few deeper dents throughout the instrument. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is slightly warped where it meets the body and has a slight bow in this area. It is also slightly warped near the nut with the bass side slightly higher than the treble side. The neck is still very comfortable completely playable. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid maple body with mahogany strips through the center in natural finish. Badass bass bridge with four individual saddles, dual knurled barrel control knobs and a selector switch.
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 9/16” nut. Open-gear Grover tuners, 34.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original DiMarzio Model 1 pickup in the neck position with master volume and tone controls and a coil splitter switch.
Pickup: 11.04K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a very rare and great playing vintage Martin electric bass guitar. The pickup is highly versatile and provides a very deep sound with a defined low end. The tone control and coil split switch can be utilized to get anything from a bright, punchy sound to a thick, full, round tone with tons of bottom end. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case in somewhat rough condition. The covering is gone and the wood has cracked in some areas (see photos).
