Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a great looking mid 80s Les Paul Studio Standard in very good overall shape! It has a very slender neck which is super comfortable, patent number humbuckers and a nice light overall weight. This guitar came to us as part of a larger collection. The original owner customized and personalized many of his guitars. This one features a custom engraved metal truss rod cover, mahogany back cover plates to match the back of the guitar and knurled control knobs.
Condition: This guitar is in very good overall shape! There are light scratches and some small dings throughout the guitar. There is a larger area of scratches/dings on the top but the guitar has to be held in lighting at the right angle for these to even be visible. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with a bound maple top in sunburst finish. Stop-Bar Tailkpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, knurled control knobs, a cream pickguard and mahogany back cover plates.
Neck: Slender slim taper mahogany neck with a bound Rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Headstock features a custom engraved gold truss rod cover and Gibson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons. 24 ¾” scale length.
