Description
What makes this guitar special: First year of production for this gorgeous Classic Series import from Japan. The guitar has that wonderful acoustic resonance we all look for in a semi-hollow body electric & the pair of Wide Range humbuckers deliver an absolutely gorgeous, warm, rich tone that seems to sustain for days. Visually the guitar is a real beauty - perfectly aged with that nice, gently weathered look. Pro set up included so she's ready to go straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: A true beauty with 30 years of good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, mild weather checking & some light finish wear in the fingerboard. There's a rectangular "ghosting" image in the back of the headstock left behind from a previous decal, perhaps a shop sticker. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & is in perfect playing condition.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decals are also in great shape with no bits missing. Vintage style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Semi-hollow ash body with single F-hole. Nice, tight neck/body connection for perfect resonance & sustain. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles & 3-ply pearloid pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.9 oz.
Pickups: Fender Wide Range humbuckers. Bridge 12.76K ohms; Neck - 12.03K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 3-way selector switch with a white Strat cap. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
