What makes this guitar special: This mid-80’s Fender Squier is a player’s guitar with a ton of character. ’86 marked the last year these were made in Japan, before Squier production was moved to Korea. A high quality build with a great sound and good feel, this Strat plays exceptionally well. With a professional set-up from Cream City Music included, you can be certain it will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Various chips, dings, dents, and scratches are present throughout. There are two notable chips on the underside of the guitar. A partial headstock break has been professionally reglued, and does not present any issues in playing. There is some visible oxidation on the bridge, as well as the input jack.
Body: Contoured double cutaway alder body in Olympic White finish with 3-ply white pickguard and 6-screw tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles.
Weight: 7lb, 12 oz.
Neck: 21-fret C-shaped maple neck with white side dots and white dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in great condition, with no visible fretwear. 25 1/2” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width.
Electronics: 3 Texas Special single coil pickups (Neck-6.19K ohms, Middle-6.27K ohms, Bridge-6.49K ohms) with 5-way selector switch and skirted knobs (2x tone, 1x volume).
Case: Hard shell included.
