Description
What makes this guitar special: 100% original & an incredibly powerful sounding guitar with a booming, woody tone. Cool look & vibe with good, honest wear. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for a nearly 30-year old guitar. Used, but not abused with various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & pick wear. There is an ever so slight gap between the top of the body & the treble side of the bridge. A single piece of paper can barely fit into it. It's really a non-issue, but we're calling it out nonetheless. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. There's some very slight pitting in the first few frets of the fingerboard, but nothing that affects playability. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Chrome Martin tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
Body: Solid spruce top with 5-ply binding. Rosewood bridge with black end pins. Black pickguard with multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with single black binding. The back is beautifully bookmatched with some pretty variegation in the wood. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 6.8 oz. There is no pickup.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
