Description
What makes this guitar special: This XP-2 is a unique bass that has found itself as a bit of a cult classic as of late. It is in very good shape overall and even has a bit of extra vibe from the playwear it has sustained by someone who likely played it often from the look of it. The graphite neck is extremely lightweight and easy to move around and the pickups have a low of great low end response.
Condition: Typical wear & tear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & some discoloration in the finish on the back of the body. The frets show mild wear but still have lots of life left in them. The neck has a bit of relief but is still comfortably playable.
Body: Distinctive Steinberger maple body in White. 3-ply black pickguard. Black fixed bridge with individually adjustable saddles. Leg rest has been cleanly cut off.
Neck: Round graphite neck and phenolic fingerboard with white dot inlays. No traditional headstock. Tuning machines in the bridge.
Electronics: EMG humucking pickups. 1 x volume, 2 x tone.
Weight: 7 lbs 15.6 oz
Playability/Sound: The EMG pickups have a great fat response. The round graphite neck is extremely light and easy to move around.
Case: Original Steinberger gigbag.
