Description: 1987 USA Made Fender American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar
Condition: Very good overall! Various minor surface scratches and a few small nicks and dings throughout the finish. Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod works fine. Back cover plate, tuners and vibrato arm are unoriginal and some touch-up soldering work has been done. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in black finish. Modern style bridge with six individual saddles, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply parchment pickguard and back cover plate.
Neck: Modern “C” shaped one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Schaller tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.92K Ohms.
Middle: 5.84K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.68K Ohms.
Weight: 8lbs, 0.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The pickups on this guitar really deliver the classic Strat tone. They are very transparent yet with a warm overall sound. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
