Description

What’s special about this guitar:  Gorgeous & rare 1988 model 620 finished in Mapleglo.  It features the very unique all-black hardware, which is something you don't typically find on most other Ric models.  The natural finish is absolutely gorgeous & has aged beautifully over the years, giving the guitar a nice, caramel color.  The guitar plays like a dream & the slender neck is exceptionally comfortable.  Add to that the fantastic sounding Hi Gain single coils & there's just no stopping this guitar!  There's a wonderful transfer of vibration & sound through the neck / body resulting in a rich ringing sustain & warm resonance.  In short, this 620 is hard to put down & very inspiring to play!

Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age; very clean with minimal play wear - a few minor nicks & dings; light surface scratches & mild weather checking.  Overall the guitar has a great look with a beautiful patina.

Neck:  Nicely rounded maple neck with black binding & cream side-dots.  Light-colored rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays.  Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear & plenty of life.  Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rods are in perfect working condition.

Body:  Neck-thru design with solid maple wings & black top-binding. 'R' tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge.  Split-level black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks.  Guitar weighs 7 lbs 7.3 oz.

Pickups:  Ric Hi-Gain single coils.  Bridge - 7.14K ohms; Neck - 12.63K ohms.  Dual volume & tone controls with blend knob; 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo outputs.  All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case:  Original hardshell case included along with the original Ric poster & controls spec sheet.
