What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous Seafoam Green 62 Vintage Reissue Strat and it plays beautifully! This guitar came to us as part of a larger collection and many of the pieces, including this one have some customized/personalized parts. Namely the control knobs, neck plate and back cover plate are all customized. This guitar has a great feel thanks to the slender neck profile and great body contours.
Condition: This guitar looks absolutely awesome. The Seafoam Green finish has developed a slight patina in all the right places giving it an awesome vintage look and vibe. There are various light surface scratches, a few dings and consistent weather checking throughout the guitar. This is the kind of finish that ages beautifully and looks better as it acquires a little more wear. There is one large chip in the finish near the neck heel that has been touched-up by hand. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions fine. The control knobs and back cover plate are unoriginal and the neck plate was modified. All other electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition .
Body: Solid contoured body in Sea Foam Green finish. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge with trem arm. Knurled control knobs, metal selector switch tip and a 3-ply mint green pickguard. Custom bound wood back cover plate and a custom engraved neck plate.
Neck: Slender 60s profile maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. White dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender American Vintage ‘57/’62 Strat Single-Coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.79K Ohms.
Middle: 5.64K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.77K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 12.0oz.
Case: Includes a Fender tweed hardshell case. A couple of tags and a couple Fender booklets are included in the case.
