Description
What makes this guitar special: Finished in a rare Alpine White & fitted with an aftermarket Bigsby, this is one of the coolest ES-335's we've had in the shop. The finish has aged marvelously into a yellowish/cream color & looks great combined with the gold hardware. Warm, rich tone with superb sustain. The guitar has been professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Super cool look with typical wear for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The original Stopbar tailpiece was replaced with a Bigsby. Tune-O-Matic bridge & gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 8.4 oz.
Pickups: Original Gibson humbuckers. Bridge - 8.93K ohms; Neck - 7.21K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black 'top hat' knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
