What makes this guitar special: An absolutely gorgeous sounding jumbo with a big, booming tone & beautiful resonance. The guitar has wonderful dynamics with clear definition between the lows & highs. Super cool black finish a la Everly Brothers. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age - there are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches & light buckle rash. There was some finish overspray around the bridge & a small area on the back of the body.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream micro dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with tulip buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Jumbo size body with bound top & back. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & endpins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid maple back & sides. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 13.5 oz.
