Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a killer Les Paul in every facet. The pickups are truly the highlight as they output monstrous amounts of classic humbucker tone. The neck is warm and full and perfectly embodies the timeless tone of the Les Paul neck position, while the bridge pickup is a bit hotter than most, hovering right around 13.5k with excellent bite and articulation that makes for head-turning leads. Surprisingly enough, this one weighs in just under 9 pounds, making it pleasantly light for a Les Paul, regardless if it’s being played standing or sitting. Its maple top is the perfect example of why guitars don’t need excessive flaming or quilting to show off the natural beauty of the tone woods that grace their faces, especially with a classic finish like Cherry Sunburst and perfectly aged binding and inlays to complement it. Plus, for being 25 years old, it is still in fantastic shape and has just enough small love marks to give it character, yet is clean enough to show off under stage lights.

Condition: This Les Paul is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, and other forms of normal wear, including a small crack in the pickguard near the upper screw, and a cracked pickup ring around neck pickup, but largely remains very clean for a guitar of its age. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body and bound carved maple top in Cherry Sunburst finish. Single-ply cream raised pickguard. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold speed knobs.

Neck: Medium depth C shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Vintage-style deluxe tuning machines with green tulip keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.5” scale.

Electronics: Gibson “The Original” HB-R humbucker in the neck and “The Original” HB-L in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Neck: 7.29k Ohms

Bridge: 13.49k Ohms

Weight: 8 lbs 15.3 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck is as easy to play as any. The humbuckers in this Les Paul sound absolutely huge. The neck is big, warm, and full and the bridge is perfectly hot and crisp with bite when attacked a bit.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
