Description
What makes this guitar special: A cult favorite in some circles, the Peavey Falcon Classic has quietly become known as a steal of a guitar to players in-the know. This unassuming Strat-style guitar packs a surprising amount of vintage tones under the hood thanks to its punchy single coil pickups. An absolute workhorse of a guitar, this Falcon Classic is sure to delight any player with its sound and playability, especially since it has been professionally set up by our expert technician.
Condition: The Peavey is in good condition overall. It has its share of surface scratches, dents, dings, nicks and chips, but is in pretty nice shape for an instrument of its age. The fingerboard displays some small dents from the strings being pressed into the surface of the wood, but they are minor and pose no issue to the playability of the guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a good amount of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions just as it should.
Body: Dual cutaway, contoured poplar body in gloss black finish. 3-ply white pickguard and pickup covers. Nickel knurled control knobs and output jack. Nickel Power Bend tremolo bridge. 4 bolt neck plate with micro tilt adjustment.
Neck: Slim C shaped bi-laminated flame maple neck (.81” at the 1st fret, .89” at the 12th fret). 22 fret flamed maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and black side dots. Nickel sealed gear tuning machines. 1 5/8” nut width. 25 ½” scale length.

Neck: 6.37k ohms
Middle: 6.51k ohms

Weight: 7 lbs. 8.9 oz.
Playability/Sound: The slim C neck is very comfortable to play, and both chording and single note runs are remarkably easy to perform. The single coil pickups offer plenty of the classic vintage character known of s-style guitars, with a well-rounded neck pickup, killer 2nd and 4th positions, and a nice twang in the bridge.
