Description
What makes this guitar special: These Japanese made Telecoustics were only manufactured from 1993-1995 and as such are very rare. This particular piece is in excellent condition with far less than the expected amount of wear for a 20+year old guitar. And with a professional setup from Cream City Music included, all you’ll have to do it tune it.
Cosmetic condition: Overall excellent condition, with some surface and playwear scratches on the body. Fretboard is in great condition, and frets show no visible signs of wear.
Body: Mahogany body with bound spruce top and string-through rosewood bridge. Single ring rosette and oval-shaped sound hole.
Weight: 5lb, 2oz
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream colored side dots and white dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in excellent condition with no visible wear, and frets are in great shape with a ton of life left in them. Chrome sealed tuners with ivoroid buttons function perfectly. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Under saddle Piezo pickup with adjustable bass, treble, and volume.
Playability/Tone: This guitar features a piezo under-saddle pickup, and sounds surprisingly full when plugged in. Acoustically, it has a little more volume than a standard semi-hollow body electric guitar - perfect for practicing your acoustic pieces at limited volume! The neck is comfortable and allows comfortable playing up and down the fretboard, making chording and lead lines easy in any position.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
