Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous sounding 52 reissue Telecaster with a beautiful look and feel. The guitar shows light play; just enough to give it a great broken in feel and look yet it is still in great shape for its age. Features include an awesome butterscotch finish, Seymour Duncan 1B pickup in the bridge and a super comfortable maple neck with maple fingerboard.
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are various light surface scratches and a few small dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar. The top shows a very slight haze in the finish that actually gives it a great vintage look. The bridge pickup was replaced with an excellent sounding Seymour Duncan single-coil and the nut was upgraded to a bone nut. Fingerboard and frets show only moderate play wear and still have tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid ash body with a butterscotch finish. The finish looks gorgeous and allows the natural wood grain to show through nicely on the body! Ash tray bridge with three individual saddles, dual knurled control knobs and a single-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable, nicely rounded maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” bone nut. Vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-coil pickup in the neck and a Seymour Duncan single-coil in the bridge. Master volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch. The neck pickup is wired to a capacitor for a very dark sound, as done on many 52 Teles.
Neck: 6.86K Ohms.
Bridge: 7.97K Ohms.
