What’s special about this bass: This is a phenomenal sounding G&L bass. It is simple in design and function but highly versatile thanks to the wide tonal range of the pickup and the tone control. The tone control can be utilized to obtain anything from a bright and punchy sound with the tone up all the way to a warm, full-bodied tone that doesn’t get too muddy with the tone rolled about halfway down. The neck is super comfortable on this instrument and has a great profile!
Condition: Good overall shape! There are various scratches, scuffs, nicks, dings, dents and a few small chips throughout the bass with some buckle rash on the back. Most of the play wear is located on the back. There are a few larger scuffs throughout the instrument but nothing too major. The fingerboard and frets are in very good overall shape with only light play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with super comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in black finish. G&L top-load bridge with four individual saddles. Dual knurled control knobs and a black metal crinkle finish pickguard.
Neck: super comfortable and nicely rounded maple neck with a neck tilt adjustment at the heel. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Open-gear tuners, 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: G&L Split MFD single-coil pickup with master volume and tone controls.
