Description

What makes this guitar special: This is an absolutely outstanding Les Paul Classic from head to toe. The PAFs sound dynamite in every position from the full and warm neck to the punchy and crisp bridge. The guitar as a whole has taken on a fantastic patina that gives it a perfectly tenured look with the binding sinking into a rich cream color that is well complemented by its gold hardware and similarly-colored headstock inlays. The neck plays very easily and will be familiar to a wide variety of players, especially those who aren’t fans of the wide nut width and slim profile on modern versions. In addition, it is surprisingly clean aesthetically for a 20+ year old guitar, and will undoubtedly serve as a loyal axe in just about any arsenal.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, especially for a 20+ year old instrument. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, chips, and scratches, but is still in great shape for its age. The neck/headstock has been professionally repaired as shown in the photos. The frets show only light wear and still have an absolute ton of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body with a maple top in Ebony finish. 7-ply top binding. Gold tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Black top hat control knobs. Raised 4-ply black pickguard.

Neck: Medium depth C shape neck and bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays. Gold Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 24 ¾” scale.

Electronics: PAF humbuckers in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Neck: 8.61k Ohms

Bridge: 7.87k Ohms

Weight: 10 lbs 1.8 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this Les Paul is easy and familiar-feeling. The PAFs sound absolutely awesome with a full and warm response in the neck, chunk with some high end clarity in the middle, and robust, punchy, and crisp response in the bridge.

Case: Includes unoriginal hardshell case.
