What makes this mandolin special: This is a discontinued model made for only a short period of time between 1990 & '95. This gorgeous Performer A style was hand-made in Bozeman, Montana & features a solid spruce top finished in classic sunburst with flame maple body. Professionally set up by Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds amazing. Huge tone with nice sustain.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - a few minor nicks, dings & mild surface scratches. The tailpiece shows tarnish, but no cracks, breaks or repairs anywhere on the instrument. It's a gorgeous piece with great feel.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Paddle headstock with cream Flatiron logo. High quality strip tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 1/16" nut width; 14" scale length.
Body: A-style body with ivoroid bound top & dual F-holes. Solid spruce top with flame maple back & sides. Arched top & back. Nickel tailpiece with compensated ebony bridge. Mandolin weighs 2 lbs 1.5 oz. There is no pickup.
Case: Original hardshell case.
