What makes this guitar special: A rare bird, for those with a specific taste. Get your delicious licks on with this early Gibson Custom Shop emerald green beauty. The Premium Plus quilted top is vibrant and unique, with a look and finish you just don’t see on many Les Pauls, while the one piece mahogany body provides brilliant resonance, truly pulling out the great sound put out by the dual ’57 Classic humbuckers. This one shows surprisingly little wear for its age, which is truly a shame when you plug it in and see what it can do. This one is meant to be played well. As with all our guitars it’s been professionally setup and inspected by our in-house master luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Very good overall condition, with very few marks throughout. There are a handful of surface scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs, most of which are only visible under direct lighting. The bass side of the lower bout shows a handful of dents and one small scratch that penetrates the finish. The edges of the headstock overlay have shrunk slightly with age (most notably on the treble side) but the fingerboard edges show none of that shrinkage. Overall, this one is in exceptional condition for its age.
Body: Solid one-piece mahogany body with bound Premium Plus Maple Quilt Top, finished in emerald green. Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, with off-white colored pickup bezels.

Neck: ‘60s style slim tapered one-piece mahogany neck (with headstock wings), black side dots and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays. Double rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show very little wear, with nearly a full lifetime of use left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, and 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo, and Gibson Custom Shop logo on back of headstock. Vintage style Gibson Deluxe tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and plays like a dream up and down the length of the fretboard.
Electronics: Dual ’57 classic humbuckers (Bridge-8.00K ohms, Neck-7.94K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and vintage-style tophat knobs with pointed indicators, 2x volume, 2x tone.
Case: Unoriginal brown Gibson hard shell case included, along with a branded Les Paul strap and Les Paul branded strings. Please note, there is no Certificate of Authenticity included with this instrument.
