Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous D-28 in great overall shape especially for being 10 years old! Though a fairly newer model, the wood has had some time to mature and this is evident in the sound. This instrument has a very warm, natural, well-balanced sound. The tone is very resonant with excellent bass response and tons of volume! This is one of those acoustics that you come back to after trying several of the same model because the sound is just right.
Condition: This acoustic is in great overall shape. There are various light surface scratches and a few tiny dings throughout the guitar. The heaviest scratches are on the pickguard. Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with smooth playability and the truss rod functions perfectly. All parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: double-bound dreadnought body with a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with a compensated saddle. Black pickguard and a black/white rosette.
Neck: Low profile Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The Rosewood has some beautiful variegation in the wood grain with some nice caramel streaks. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Martin tuners, 25.4” scale length.
Weight: 4lbs, 14.0oz.
Case: Includes the original hardshell case.
