What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful American Standard Strat in ocean turquoise with a matching headstock. This one has some seriously nice electronics upgrades including Fender Custom Shop pickups and a TBX tone control! The pickups and tone control really bring out the best of this guitar sound full and clear. This particular Strat has a very tight fitting neck pocket resulting in excellent transfer of vibration and sound through the neck and body. The neck is nicely rounded and instantly comfortable!
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are various surface scratches and very small nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. There are a couple of larger finish chips on the headstock. Overall the guitar is quite clean for being 20 years old! The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with Great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod and neck tilt adjustment function perfectly. The pickups have been replace with fender custom Shop single coils which sound awesome and the guitar has a TBX tone control for the bridge and middle pickups giving the guitar some great versatility! All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in ocean turquoise finish. Modern-style two-point bridge with six individual saddles and a trem arm. Skirted white control knobs and a 3-ply white pickguard and back cover plate.
Neck: “C” shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment at the neck heel. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Custom Shop single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, neck pickup tone control, TBX tone control for the middle and bridge pickups and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 6.50K Ohms.
Middle: 6.05K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.50K Ohms.
