Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a killer 20-year-old Strat with a ton of character. The D shape neck is unique compared to the standard C shape many modern players are used to, but suits most playing styles equally well and actually performs better for certain formations and positions. The pickups sound fantastic in every combination and the addition of the humbucker and coil-split provide an extra dimension of tonal range. The blackout look is fantastic and is perfectly complemented by the aged headstock and tuners, giving this guitar a dose of dark vintage vibe.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does posses some dings, dents, as well as a fair amount of pick scratches throughout, but still looks great. There is some permanent marker on the nut and some hardware is starting to show light corrosion. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.
Body: Double cutaway contoured body in Black. 3-ply black pickguard. Chrome synchronized tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles. Black top hat knobs. Black tremolo spring cover.
Neck: Medium D shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width.
Electronics: Standard single-coil pickups in the neck and middle, humbucker in the bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 1 x coil-split mini-toggle switch.
Weight: 8 lbs 7 oz
Playability/Sound: The D shape neck is a unique feel on a Strat but comfortable all the same. It feels perfect in-hand for many formations and positions. The pickups sound fantastic and the humbucker adds a bit of extra punch in the bridge.
Case: Includes hardshell case.
