What makes this guitar special: An exceptionally well-made Acoustic/Electric Thinline Tele with a piezo acoustic bridge pickup and electric neck pickup. Features include a semi-hollow body with a bound top, super comfortable “C’” shaped neck and tonal versatility from both pickups. The semi-hollow design really opens up the sound and gives the guitar a sweet acoustic tone.
Condition: The guitar is in great shape overall. It shows signs of moderate play wear such as surface scratches, minor nicks and dings along with mild weather checking. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with very little wear and tons of life in them.
Body: Semi-hollow thinline body with a bound maple top in sunburst finish. String-thru rosewood bridge with single F-hole. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 2 oz.
Neck: “C” shape maple neck with skunk stripe and cream side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Nickel Gotoh sealed gear tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8” nut width; 25 1/4” scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod is in good working condition. The curved neck heel allows for more comfortable play and the neck plate offers easy access to the neck tilt adjustment.
Electronics: Active electronics with a single-coil magnetic pickup in the neck and a piezo under-saddle pickup in the bridge. Master volume and tone controls with a pickup blend control. Three black speed knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability/Sound: The “C” shaped neck is super comfortable and is instantly recognizable to a large number of players. A truly versatile Thinline capable of achieving deep rounded and unique tones. The piezo delivers a very convincing acoustic tone and with the on-board blend control, it’s possible to mix the two pickups together to achieve an even wider range of sounds.
