Description

What makes this guitar special: Great-playing and even better sounding, this 90s American Strat comes with a simple mod and a killer color. Instead of the tradition single-coils, this one comes loaded with a set of Lollars, each that fully embody the Strat tone, but add a bit more character in the upper mid-range, which pretty much emphasizes the timeless tones Strats are known for. The neck feels perfectly worn in and has the feel of a vintage piece due to this fact, adding a subtle extra element of overall playability. Plus, it comes in an uncommon Daphne Blue, which looks extra sharp with a mint pickguard, a little road wear, and a neck that looks like its seen more than a fair share of shows. All in all, it’s a great worn-in Strat that still has a ton of life left in it, and some character to boot.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does show various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, and scratches throughout, as well as some edge wear on the neck and a burn mark on the headstock, but is still in pretty great shape for a 20-year-old guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should. The nylon strap on the inside of the case is detached and doesn’t hold open as it should, but the rest of the case functions just fine.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Daphne Blue finish. 3-ply mint pickguard. White top hat control knobs and pickup covers. Deluxe-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge.

Neck: C shape maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Fender chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale. .81” deep at the 1st fret and .88” deep at the 12th.

Electronics: Lollar single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 1 x standard tone, 1 x tone control. 5-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 14.9 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck is an easy and familiar C shape that plays great from the nut to the cutaway. The pickups sound fantastic in all 5-positions, each rich with classic Strat tone from the warm and rounded neck to the hyped midrange of the middle positions and the crisp jangle of the bridge.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
