What makes this guitar special: One could easily say that the flame maple top and Natural finish put this guitar head and shoulders above the rest, but more than anything, it is most definitely the intense and gorgeous birdseye maple figuring that graces every inch of the neck. In fact, just about every cut of wood used for this guitar must have been prime real estate as its body, top, neck, and fingerboard all show fantastic figuring for their respective species. If that wasn’t enough, it also comes loaded with a set of Custom Shop pickups that boast the entire range of classic Strat tones, from the warm and rounded neck, through the timeless mid-range quack of the middle positions and into the vintage single-coil jangle of the bridge. Plus, it is still in fantastic condition for a guitar that’s 20 years old and also comes with its original hardshell case and a professional setup so it plays as slick as it looks.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. Outside of light surface scratches, which are mostly on the pickguard and trem cover, as well as a few very minor dings here and there, this guitar is in fantastic shape, especially for being 20 years old. The frets show only light wear if any and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body with a flamed maple top in Natural finish. 4-ply tortoise pickguard. Aged white top hat control knobs and pickup covers. Deluxe-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge. Chrome hardware.
Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape birdseye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length. .84” deep at the 1st fret and .87” deep at the 12th.
Electronics: Fender Custom Shop single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck on this Strat plays as easy as any and has a familiar and comfortable feel that most players can identify with. The pickups sound fantastic and output loads of classic Strat tone from the warm and rounded neck through the sought-after hyped midrange of the middle positions and into the crisp single-coil jangle of the bridge.
