What makes this guitar special: A discontinued model that has gained a lot in popularity over the last few years. This is one of the more simpler versions of the Malcolm model, featuring a single FilterTron bridge humbucker with master volume & tone controls. The flame maple top is absolutely stunning & with a pro set up from the experts at Cream City Music, you can be sure this gorgeous guitar is ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, and in pretty good shape for being over 20 years old. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings, along with surface scratches & some mild finish wear.
Neck: Soft V-shape mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with Malcom's signature on the truss rod cover. Sealed chrome tuners with "G" Arrow logo. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, chambered mahogany body with flame maple top & 4-ply binding. Leo Quan Badass wrap-around bridge with adjustable saddles. Vintage-style strap buttons are currently on the guitar, but the original Gretsch screw-ins are included. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.7 oz.
Electronics: FilterTron bridge humbucker with silver bezel. Master volume & tone controls with "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
