Description
What makes this guitar special: A USA made beauty, with top-notch fit & finish and a fabulous sound. This Hamer does a terrific job of paying tribute to one of the most iconic Les Paul models of the ‘50s, with a pair of snarling P90’s that sound positively fantastic, and high-gloss finish that looks terrific. Professionally setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it’ll arrive ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Terrific shape for its age, with some standard wear & tear throughout. Various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs, along with some surface level buckle rash.
Body: Double cutaway one-piece mahogany body in cherry finish with Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 7 lb, 13.9 oz
Neck: Slim-tapered 3-piece mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and frets show very little wear. Schaller tuners function perfectly. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Fingerboard edges show some wear, and some discoloration in the clear coat on the bass side. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Dual P90 single coils (Neck-10.66k ohms, Bridge-14.29k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black tophat knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone. The bridge pickup has been replaced with an overwound P90, and one of the original pots has been replaced (but is included in the case). The wiring has also been modified so that the bridge pickup volume is controlled by the front knob, and the neck pickup volume is controlled by the middle knob. This makes for some super cool easy volume swells.
Case: Original hard shell case included. A previous owner stenciled his name on the case, but it’s in otherwise great shape.
