Description

What makes this guitar special:  The upper echelon of the rosewood models features Taylor’s popular “Cindy” inlay, Indian rosewood binding, red purfling accents, and abalone top trim.  The fine detailing of the 900 Series sets it apart with exceptional design sophistication.  The smallest of Taylor’s full-size body shapes, its compact dimensions make for a physically comfortable guitar with an intimate feel and sound. The smaller footprint keeps the overtones in check, contributing to a focused, articulate sound that’s well-suited for recording and stage work.

Cosmetic Condition:  Excellent condition for being 20 years old with very little play wear - some minor nicks & dings in the top near the soundhole & bridge; mild surface scratches.

Neck:  Tropical mahogany neck with silver side-dots.  Ebony fingerboard with abalone Cindy inlays.  Frets are in great shape with no wear.  Rosewood headstock overlay.  Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.  The guitar was manufactured in '96 so it has the earlier set neck style rather than the bolt-on version which came later.

Body:  Single cutaway, Grand Concert body.  Solid sitka spruce top with rosewood binding & abalone purfling.  Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays.  Rosewood soundhole binding & abalone rosette.  There is no pickguard. 15" lower bout width; 4" depth.  Guitar weighs 4 lbs 7.9 oz.

Electronics:  Active, under-saddle pickup.  There are no volume or tone controls.

Case:  Original hardshell case included.
