Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a great late ‘90s Strat with a nice slim-feeling neck and all the classic Stratocaster tone you could hope for, so if you’re looking for a player’s guitar, this is it. The pickups output every facet of classic Strat tone from the warm and rounded neck to the hyped mid-range in the 2nd and 4th positions to the crisp chime in the bridge. The neck profile feels slimmer than the standard C and modern C shapes most come equipped with now, making it a pleasant variation from current models. The body has loves marks from head to toe, so it’s seen its fair share of playing, but most give it character and prove its tenure as a go-to instrument that stood the test of time.

Condition: This Strat is in good condition overall. It possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, gauges, scratches, discoloration, finish cracks (neck pocket), and other forms of wear, but still looks good and plays and sounds fantastic. The frets show only light to mild wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Sunburst finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Deluxe-style bridge with individually adjustable saddles. White plastic pickup covers and top hat control knobs.

Neck: Slim C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Sealed chrome tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length.

Electronics: American Strat single-coil pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Weight: 8 lbs 2.4 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this Strat feels a bit slimmer than the standard and modern C shapes, and plays effortlessly from the nut to the cutaway. The pickups are about as quintessential as they get for a Stratocaster with a round and warm neck, boosted midrange in the middle, hyped upper mids in the 2nd and 4th positions, and crisp chime in the bridge.

Case: Includes semi-hardshell case.
