Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a great-playing American Telecaster with some unique mods that give it a bit of extra dimension. The most notable addition is the middle position humbucker that includes its own set of volume and tone controls and an additional output. The controls and output remain standard for the neck and bridge but with the additional output for the humbucker, players can form a dynamic stereo signal. The rest of the build is all in line with the quality, look, and sound of American Standards with traditional Telecaster tone, an easy C shape maple neck, a deluxe-style plate bridge with individually adjustable saddles, and an ultimately classic Sunburst finish.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does have various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, and scratches, but largely remains clean and still looks great for an instrument that’s nearly 20 years old. The frets show only light to mild wear and still have a considerable amount of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway alder body in Sunburst finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Deluxe-style Telecaster plate bridge with individually adjustable saddles. Black speed knobs.
Neck: Medium depth C shape maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. Chrome sealed tuning machines.
Electronics: Fender single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge. Added humbucker in the middle. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control (middle only). 1 x volume, 1 x tone control (neck and bridge only). 3-way pickup selector. Traditional electronic configuration with the main controls and output, second output is middle position only.
Weight: 7 lbs 13.6 oz
Playability/Sound: The pickups in this guitar have a ton of classic Tele tone from the round and warm neck to the twang and jangle of the bridge. The middle position humbucker adds not only a bit of extra tonal range, but an additional output as well.
Case: Gigbag.
