Description

What makes this guitar special? This 335 has gorgeous yet subtle figuring under its rich Cherry finish that emphasizes the understated qualities of such a fantastic guitar. The rosewood board is much more overt, with long luscious streaks of brown, gold and black throughout its length. The ’57 Classics are an excellent complement to its semi-hollow body construction, taking some character from the natural resonance that makes it such pleasure to play, and imparting the classic sound of Gibson humbuckers to create one of the most delectable electric guitar tones in music. The slim neck is extremely easy to move around and with the setup our techs have given it, plays beautifully from the nut to the cutaway. It has the perfect amount of wear - enough to give it character, play like an old friend, and save the worry of the first marks, yet clean enough to look like its been well taken care of. This is a great playing guitar with some extra character, great tone, and excellent playability, so don’t miss your chance to add it to your roster.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, and scratches, but overall is still clean and looks great. It does show normal signs of wear in the finish and hardware. There is a small chip out of the binding near the first fret. The frets show only light wear and still have a lot of life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway semi-hollow body with a bound and figured maple top, back, and sides in Cherry. Chrome ABR-1 bridge and stop bar tailpiece. 4-ply black pickguard. Black top hat knobs.

Neck: Slim mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Chrome Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut.

Electronics:  ’57 Classic humbucker in the neck and ’57 Classic Plus in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup switch.

Weight: 8 lbs 7.1 oz

Playability/Sound: The slim neck is very easy to move around and plays nearly effortlessly from the nut to the cutaway. The pickups sound fantastic in all positions from the rich, full, and warm neck to the brighter, hotter bridge. With the setup our techs have given it, it plays beautifully.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
